This year will be Zandi Land’s very first time as sponsors of The Skin Games, the world’s top esthetician only competition show! In March we will head to Atlanta with the team to see estheticians compete in all areas of esthetics, including waxing of course! Discovering a Hidden Passion
Genice's path to becoming an esthetician was unconventional. She initially pursued a career in nursing, working in a sanitarium and completing her AA units in sciences, including a lot of chemistry. However, fate had different plans for her. It wasn't until she decided to attend beauty school that she stumbled upon the world of aesthetics. At that time, Genice was already skilled in hair and makeup, but the beauty school's administration saw potential in her
background and convinced her to pursue aesthetics as well. Little did she know that this decision would lead her to fall in love with the esti world and the opportunity to merge her scientific knowledge with her passion for beauty.

In the early stages of her career, Genice looked up to industry figures such as Gary Vee, Erika from the Peach Bar, and @chloeamstutz, drawing inspiration from their journeys. She credits them for helping her branch out into esthetics. Over the years, she has continued to learn and evolve by observing and learning from other professionals. Genice currently finds mentorship and guidance from Six Figure Spa Chick as a VIP member, further solidifying her commitment to continuous growth.
From Solo-preneur to Team Player
