For Nikki, owner of The Dollhouse Wax Studio in Smyrna, Tennessee, it started with believing in herself, trusting her clients, and chasing a dream that quickly became something much bigger than she imagined.

After years in the beauty industry and time spent working for a waxing chain, Nikki made the move from New York to Middle Tennessee and decided it was time to build something of her own. More than 800 loyal clients followed her from a small suite into the next chapter. Just a year and a half later, that dream grew into a storefront, an incredible team of estheticians, and the vibrant community now known as The Dollhouse Wax Studio.

Today, The Dollhouse has been open for two years, and while Nikki may be the founder, she'll be the first to tell you this business is about far more than one person.

"I may be the owner, but this dream wouldn't be possible without my team. They truly help me bring my vision to life."
