This month, our Pay It Forward Fund is proud to support the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project. The American Civil Liberties Union works to ensure that fundamental constitutional protections—like due process and equal protection under the law—apply to everyone in the United States, regardless of immigration status. The ACLU fights discrimination and unlawful enforcement practices, challenges laws that undermine access to courts, excessive detention, and biased policies, and advocates for humane treatment across federal, state, and local systems.

Their work includes impact litigation, advocacy, public education, and defending the rights of people seeking asylum, due process, and fair treatment in immigration systems.

For more than 25 years, the ACLU has been at the forefront of major legal struggles to protect immigrants’ rights and uphold civil liberties for all.
