Meet speed waxer and one of Zandi Land's Brand Ambassadors, Shelby Finai! Shelby knew she was destined for the beauty world from a young age, when she was a little girl giving her dolls makeovers – hair, makeup, the whole shebang! Fast forward to today, and she’s turning that childhood passion into a thriving career.

"I always loved beauty! Even as a little girl, I would do my dolls' hair and makeup. It was something that always made sense for my life. Realizing my passion for waxing and working with clients was truly life-changing for me," Shelby spills.

SOLO AND LOVING IT

Shelby is the queen of her own castle, ruling her beauty empire solo. "Solo all the way! I love working for myself. Eventually, I will work on building my own team and growing my brand overall," she says. Shelby thrives on the independence and freedom of being a solo-preneur, bringing her unique touch to every service she offers.

A JOURNEY TO BE PROUD OF

Shelby’s story is one of grit, growth, and girl power. "I’m just proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve owned and worked for other salons in the past, but Beauty Works is by far my best baby!

I’ve tripled my clientele in less than a year and have gained connections I never imagined. I'm a single mom of two and being able to provide for us is everything to me. I have a lot of room to continue to grow and I look forward to the future, but I am very grateful and proud of how far I’ve come so far."
